Libyan state media said Wednesday that two hijackers who commandeered a plane in Sudan's Darfur region surrendered after releasing their hostages.
The official JANA news agency said the pair gave up to authorities in the remote Libyan town of Kufra where the Sudanese jet had landed to refuel.
CNN said the identities of the hijackers weren't released, although Britain's Sky News said they were believed affiliated with the Sudan Liberation Army.
The hijackers had earlier released the 87 passengers but kept the six members of the crew aboard while they negotiated with Libyan authorities about their demands to take the plane to Paris.
