BAGHDAD, Iraq - A man wearing explosives under a police uniform set them off in heavily guarded Baghdad police academy on Saturday, killing five people.
Police said seven people were wounded in the attack targeting the headquarters of the Wolf Brigade, a feared commando force headed by a top leader of Iraq's largest Shiite Muslim political party.
Most of them were policemen, said Maj. Falah al-Mahamdawi, a witness.
Sunni Arab leaders have accused the Wolf Brigade, which is attached to the Interior Ministry, of kidnapping and killing members of Iraq's minority Sunni community, including clerics.
The ministry has denied such claims.
