Kennedy Hospitalized in Massachusetts

U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., under treatment following brain tumor surgery in July, was unexpectedly hospitalized in Cape Cod, Mass., Friday, officials said.
Citing a Kennedy family statement, MSNBC reported that Kennedy suffered a small seizure after a change in medications, and the senator was expected to be back home later Friday night.
The Hyannis Port Fire Department told CNN it sent a rescue squad to Kennedy’s home, and said he was alert when the ambulance arrived.
The 76-year-old Kennedy has been receiving radiation and chemotherapy, but his office has said he might return to the Senate in January.
