Police make arrests in London bomb attack -Sky

LONDON (Reuters) - Police made a number of arrests in the
northern city of Leeds on Tuesday over the suspected al Qaeda
attacks which killed 52 people in London last week, Sky news
television reported.

Neither London nor West Yorkshire police would confirm or
deny the arrests.

Earlier, police in Leeds searched six houses in connection
with the attacks, which they described as a "significant" move.

West Yorkshire police said they would hold a news
conference later on Tuesday to release more details, although
there was no firm start time.

In southern England, just north of London, police recovered
a vehicle from Luton station car park which was suspected of
being involved in the attacks.
