Five Britons seriously injured in Turkey blast

LONDON (Reuters) – Five British nationals were seriously
injured in a minibus blast in the western Turkish resort of
Kusadasi on Saturday which killed four people and injured 14
others, the Foreign Office said.

A sixth British national suffered minor injuries but there
were not believed to be any British fatalities, a Foreign
Office spokeswoman said.

British consular officials were with the injured at
hospital and a senior honorary consul was on his way to
Kusadasi from the port city of Izmir, some 70 km (45 miles
away).
