LONDON - Police investigating the failed July 21 bomb attacks on three subway trains and a bus in London said Sunday they had made six arrests in southern England.
Police carried out searches at two properties in the Sussex region of southern England and arrested six people at one location under anti-terrorism laws, a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said. The six were being detained at a police station in Sussex.
Authorities said earlier they were interrogating 11 suspects in the failed attacks, and media reports said they were investigating the attackers' ties to Saudi Arabia.
