New Marketing Package for Medinail Learning Center Graduates Increases New Client Traffic in Salons
Medinail Learning Center has developed a new marketing package for salons that hire their safety-trained graduates. Marketing this philosophy brings in new clients: those who have not been able to enjoy services due to their health condition, those who are fearful of nail salons, and those podiatrists send in now due to the upgraded safety.
Chattanooga, TN (Vocus/PRWEB) January 27, 2011
Medinails Learning Center, Chattanooga, TN, (MLN), an online training company, has developed a new marketing package for its graduates that focuses on the positives of working safely in the nail salons. Claudia Cox, MNT, owner, Back in Touch Wellness Center, Sebring, FL took the MLN Programs and feels this was a turning point in her business. “Marketing safe nail services brings in new clients who stay not only as regulars for the nail services but to purchase other services in the salon,” she says. “Showing we care about their safety in our nail services enhances trust in us, as professionals, and they come in for more services.”
Medinail Learning Center trains two courses for nail technicians, an Advanced Nail Technician Program (ANT) for salon-based nail technicians who wish to upgrade their services and bring in clients who appreciate safety, and a Medical Nail Technician Program (MNT) designed to train nail technicians to work in Podiatry offices. The ANT is four modules of information online plus an exam and includes a section on how to market safety to attract new clients, how to work safely on chronically ill clients, and much more. The MNT is the ANT plus seven more modules, exams and an Internship experience in the office of a podiatrist.
“These programs are what we have needed in our industry for a long time,” says Janet McCormick, nail technician and author of the programs. “First, aside from the need for unquestionable safety in our services, we need to be able to step above and away from salons that do not perform disinfection, hire unlicensed nail technicians, and flaunt taking nail services to the bottom most common denominator,” she says. “Second, the MNT provides nail technicians a new career opportunity, the possibility of working with podiatrists in their offices,” she says. Podiatry offices hire MNTs who are trained to perform cosmetic pedicures safely on at-risk patients.
