Joe Thornton had a goal and an assist and Mike Knuble added two assists in the Boston Bruins' 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.
The win was the second straight at home for the Bruins, who didn't win once in their first four home games.
Boston had three power-play goals, while the Oilers failed to score in man-advantage opportunities.
Patrice Bergeron opened the scoring for the Bruins on a power play at 11:01 of the first period with his fifth goal of the season.
Jarret Stoll tied it 51 seconds into the second period when he redirected a shot from Ryan Smyth.
But Boston scored three goals in the period. Martin LaPointe broke the tie at 12:25. Thornton made it 3-1 with his third goal of the season and Sandy McCarthy opened the lead to three goals at 16:36 with a wraparound.
Raffi Torres made it 4-2 early in the third period and Shawn Horcroff closed the scoring with a shorthanded goal with about 8 1/2 minutes to go.
The Oilers are 2-2-1 on their current six-game road trip that ends Thursday in Minnesota.
