United Home Experts to Display at Hopkinton Marathon, Ashland Day, and Framingham Earth Day
As a roofing, siding, and window contractor serving primarily the MetroWest Boston region, Ashland-based United Home Experts finds great value in participating in local events. This spring, United will reserve space on Hopkinton Common for the start of the Boston Marathon on April 18, on the Framingham Centre Common for the Earth Day Festival on April 30, and at Stone Park for Ashland Day on Sept 17.
Ashland, MA (PRWEB) April 25, 2011
Although the Hopkinton Common start of the Boston Marathon draws people from all over the world, many residents from Hopkinton, Ashland, Framingham and the adjoining MetroWest towns also come to the starting line to cheer on the runners. United will join in the festivities as well, displaying HardiePlank siding, windows, and Certainteed roofing in addition to holding a raffle for a $100 restaurant gift card.
At the April 30 Earth Day Festival in Framingham, United will focus on displays and discussions of green products, such as Fiber Cement Siding and Integrity Windows from Marvin. HardiePlank fiber cement is made with low toxicity raw materials (wood pulp, cement, sand and water). Because it is such a long lasting material, the cement requires less replacement, decreasing waste and use of new resources. The Ultrex fiberglass in Integrity Windows from Marvin is made from silica sand – a safe and renewable resource. Integrity Windows also require less energy to make than vinyl windows. Ultrex fiberglass manufacturing plants have extensive recycling and pollution prevention programs in place, and participate in yearly audits to ensure safe and healthy progress.
At Ashland Day, taking place on April 23 in United’s home town, the company plans to give away Frisbees to children and will be available for Q&A on tips for improving home value and decreasing energy consumption. A member of the ABA (Ashland Business Association), and BNI Ashland, United Home Experts has completed countless siding, roofing, and window replacement projects in Ashland.
United Home Experts owner John Dudley Jr. said that supporting the community is important to his organization and its employees. “We enjoy getting involved in these kinds of events because we believe that they allow us to become closer to our customers,” Dudley said. “We look forward to the opportunity to talk with our local home and business owners and to learn more about how we can help meet their siding, roofing and window needs. It’s also a lot of fun to be out there to support events where we live and work!”
