The 30,000 square foot Paul Bunyan Water Park is a favorite treat for kids of all ages, anytime of the year. The lumberjack themed attraction is named for the legendary Paul Bunyan and is watched over by Paul’s logging partner, Babe the Blue Ox. This Brainerd hotel is located in the heart of Minnesota’s Lake Country, the Brainerd Water Park reflects the history of logging in the area with these “larger than life” characters as hosts.

Considering the substantial number of properties across the United States and the throughout the Caribbean, being selected one of the top 12 properties where “kids rule” by the editors of Bing Travel, is quite an honor. Kids agree that this Minnesota water park brings them back for more, time and time again.

The indoor Paul Bunyan Water Park offers a splashing good time for kids of all ages, in all seasons of the year. Though it may be snowing or raining outside, it is always a perfect day to enjoy this 30,000 square foot water playground with its perfectly controlled climate, directly attached to The Lodge where even the accommodations reflect careful consideration in providing families with a great vacation experience.

The Holographic Tube Slide (only the second of its kind) offers riders the choice of 16 different themes of light and music to enhance the ride as never before. Experiencing one of the themes entices folks to ride over and over again to try each of the unique holographic themes.

The gigantic, four story, full body slide shoots riders completely outside the building and back before delivering them to the pool below. The pool itself is built with a zero depth entry just like your favorite beach, perfect for wading and splashing in shallow waters. The water park also features a non-slip rubberized deck and several other slides perfect for entertaining even the littlest visitor.

In keeping with the lumberjack theme, Paul’s Log Walk gives kids a chance to see if they might have the skills it takes to become a lumberjack. A float along the lazy river before joining the fun in the large tree house activity center or a round of battles with the water cannons is yet another option. Parents will enjoy the relaxing float and the indoor-outdoor hot tub surrounded by a heated outdoor patio floor. The added security of knowing a Life Guard is always on duty, keeping an eye on all the water-play, is another plus for the park.

The Lodge also features a 2400 square foot Gold Mine Arcade where each game allows players to win tickets which may then be redeemed for prizes. Play pool, racing and hunting arcade games, skee ball, air hockey and more. Sour Dough Sam’s snack bar is located to serve both the water park and arcade areas with all the kid’s favorites.
