Hudson, Robinson Expecting First Child

Goldie is going to be a grandma. “Almost Famous” actress Kate Hudson and her musician husband Chris Robinson announced Thursday they are expecting their first child. The couple has been married since December 2000.
It will also be the first grandchild for Hudson’s mother, actress Goldie Hawn, and stepfather, Kurt Russell.
The child is due sometime early next year, according to the couple’s publicist, Brad Cafarelli. He refused to say how far along the pregnancy is.
Hudson, 24, currently stars in the romantic-comedy “Alex & Emma.” Robinson, 36, formerly of the group The Black Crowes, plans to begin touring soon with his new band New Earth Mud.
