Saturday’s Angels-Yankees game called off

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Rain has forced the postponement of
Saturday's Game Four in the American League Division Series
between the Los Angeles Angels and the New York Yankees.

The Angels, who went 2-1 up in the best-of-five series
after an 11-7 victory on Friday, must wait until Sunday for the
chance to clinch a place in the American League Championship
Series against the Chicago White Sox.

Sunday's game at Yankee Stadium is scheduled to start at
2015 local time (0015 GMT).

If the Yankees win to stave off elimination, the series
will shift back to Los Angeles for a deciding Game Five on

The White Sox earned a three-game sweep of the world
champion Boston Red Sox after a 5-3 win on Friday.
