Hurricane Wilma now Category 5 storm

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – An Air Force plane has measured
maximum sustained winds of near 175 mph from Hurricane Wilma,
the U.S. National Hurricane Center reported early on Wednesday,
making it an extremely dangerous Category 5 storm.

The reconnaissance aircrafted measured an estimated minimum
air pressure of 892 MB, the lowest pressure observed in 2005
and equivalent to the minimum pressure of the 1935 Labor Day
hurricane in the Florida Keys, the center reported on its web
site at www.nhc.noaa.hov.
