Wal-Mart confirms shooting at New Mexico store

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. on Tuesday confirmed there was a shooting at one of its stores in New Mexico and a spokeswoman said it was her understanding that there were no fatalities in the incident.
The shooting occurred at a Wal-Mart store in Deming, New Mexico, located in the southwestern part of the state.
Wal-Mart said that police were on the scene.
Further details were not immediately available from Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer, or from the Deming police department.
