Hospital denies Sharon opened his eyes
January 16, 2006
JERUSALEM (Reuters) – The hospital treating Israeli Prime
Minister Ariel Sharon denied a report on Monday the comatose
leader had opened his eyes for the first time since a massive
stroke on January 4.
“It is not true,” Hadassah hospital spokeswoman Maho
Stainberg told Reuters. The YNetnews web site earlier had
quoted Sharon aides as saying he had opened his eyes.
