February 8, 2006
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Capitol police issued an
all clear at the Senate office building after tests results on
a suspected nerve agent proved negative, and 200 evacuees
including eight U.S. senators were released.
“We don’t have a nerve agent,” police spokeswoman Kimberly
Schneider said. She said all those evacuated would be allowed
to return to the Russell Office Building after the three-hour
security scare.
