One Hostage Released From Arizona Prison

One of two correctional officers held hostage in a prison guard tower by two inmates for nearly a week was released Saturday.
The guard, who was not immediately identified, was being taken to a hospital, said Department of Corrections spokeswoman Cam Hunter.
The release occurred after negotiators delivered an item demanded by the inmates, Hunter said. She did not reveal what the inmates were given.
Another hostage and the two inmates remained in the tower, Hunter said.
