Couric says to leave ‘Today’ show in May

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Katie Couric announced her departure
from NBC's "Today" show on Wednesday and said she would join
rival CBS.

Couric announced she was leaving the show at the end of May
after serving 15 years as host, longer than any other anchor of
the morning show. Couric said she would join the CBS "Evening
News" and "60 Minutes."
