Crude Oil Slides Toward $68 Per Barrel

Energy prices fell Thursday on the New York Mercantile Exchange as crude oil, dropped to bear $68 a barrel, led a broad-based but modest retreat.
High-quality crude for May delivery fell 45 cents to $68.17 per barrel, and natural gas was off about a dime to $6.716 per million Btu.
Gasoline gave back a couple of pennies to $2.0708 per gallon, as did heating oil, which was hovering around $1.9556 per gallon.
