Delta and pilots reach tentative agreement
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Delta Air Lines on Friday reached a
tentative agreement with its pilots, ahead of a scheduled
ruling by an independent arbitration panel, according to a
source familiar with the matter.
The two sides went to an independent arbitration panel in
March after they could not reach a deal on a contract. The
panel was scheduled to rule on April 15. The pilots threatened
to strike if the arbitration panel allowed Delta to throw out
their existing deal and impose terms on them.
