NY Spitzer to announce mortgage fraud ring case
NEW YORK (Reuters) – New York Attorney General Eliot
Spitzer and state Banking Superintendent Diana Taylor on
Tuesday said they will announce “the dismantling of a massive
mortgage fraud ring” later on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Spitzer declined comment because it
involves criminal indictments of individuals. A press
conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. EDT in lower Manhattan.
