AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Reuters) – The Detroit Pistons
clamped down on Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James to win
Game 7 of their playoff series 79-61 on Sunday and advance to
the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Pistons led throughout the game and held James to just
six points in the second half with the series on the line.

James, 21, had carried the Cavaliers to brink of an upset
against the heavily favored Pistons in his third year in the
league.

James led all scorers with 27 points, including 13 in the
second-quarter when he turned up the heat and single-handedly
pulled Cleveland back into the game.

The Pistons, in the playoffs for the fifth straight season,
advance to the Eastern Conference finals against the
well-rested Miami Heat.
