Light earthquake in Northern California

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A light earthquake shook northern
California early on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The tremor occurred at 5:24 a.m. PDT and was magnitude 4.7,
rated as "light," the agency said on its Web site.

The epicenter was 28 miles southeast of San Jose. There
were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
