Adjmi recalls Reebok children’s windsuits

June 22, 2006

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Adjmi Apparel Group will recall some
55,000 Reebok children’s windsuits due to a logo applique which
can pose a choking hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety
Commission said on Thursday.

The Reebok logo on a clear rubber zipper pull on the jacket
can detach, and Reebok has received one report of a child who
began to choke from a detached applique. No injuries have been
reported.

Adjmi is an authorized licensee of children’s apparel
products of Reebok International, which was recently acquired
by Germany’s Adidas-Salomon AG.
