Israeli air strikes target Gaza City: witnesses

GAZA (Reuters) – Israeli helicopter gunships struck targets
in Gaza City early on Monday, witnesses said, just hours after
Israel’s prime minister ordered the army to intensify
operations to free a captured soldier.
