TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran will make a statement on Thursday about its nuclear programme which is at the center of a dispute with the West, state television reported without giving details about what the statement would contain.
The report said the statement would be made at around 11:00 a.m. British time by Iran's Supreme National Security Council, which handles the nuclear case.
Iran has said it will reply to a package of proposals made by six world powers by August 22. Iran's nuclear file has been referred back to the U.N. Security Council after Tehran took too long to reply to that offer.
