Gunmen kidnap 25 people at central Baghdad company
BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Gunmen wearing camouflaged uniforms of
Iraqi security forces kidnapped 25 people from a company in
central Baghdad in broad daylight on Monday, police sources
The gunmen pulled up in 15 four-wheel-drive vehicles and
kidnapped employees and customers of the company on a
commercial street in the Arasat district of the capital.
The abductions took place on Arasat street, once a thriving
commercial district that has seen many businesses close due to
violence ravaging the country.
Large-scale abductions are common in Iraq’s lawlessness.
