Congo party denounces poll fraud

KINSHASA (Reuters) - A Congolese opposition party and
former rebel group on Tuesday denounced what it called
widespread fraud in the country's historic elections and said
it could challenge the results if this was not rectified.

"These irregularities are so significant that they distort
the results of the vote across the national territory," the
Congolese Rally for Democracy (RCD), whose presidential
candidate is ex-rebel chief Azarias Ruberwa, said in a
statement.
