Train services restored between NY and NJ
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Trains services between New York and
New Jersey were restored after the discovery of a substance
leak near the entrance to the Hudson River Tunnel was found to
be harmless, Amtrak said.
“An investigation determined that a drum of hydraulic oil
had fallen off a work train nearby tracks on the New Jersey
side of the Hudson River Tunnel,” Amtrak said in a statement.
Services were restored at 4:35 p.m. EDT (2035 GMT).
