Chechen leader's brother surrenders, not leader

GROZNY, Russia (Reuters) - A spokesman for the pro-Moscow government of Chechnya said initial information that rebel leader Doku Umarov surrendered to Russia on Friday was incorrect and it was his brother who had done so.
"Initially we had information that it was Doku Umarov, but later it turned out that it was his younger brother," the spokesman said by telephone. He gave no further details.
