Saddam genocide trial adjourned until Sept 11: court

BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Saddam Hussein’s trial for genocide
against the Kurds was adjourned on Wednesday for three weeks
until September 11, the court said.
The former Iraqi leader and six co-defendants are accused
of slaughtering tens of thousands of Kurds in northern Iraq
during a seven-month campaign in 1988.
