Pats Lead Jets 23-16 in 4th Quarter

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Corey Dillon ran for an 11-yard touchdown on New England’s first possession, Tom Brady had a short scoring pass to help give the New England Patriots a a 23-16 lead over the New York Jets in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s AFC wild-card game.

Stephen Gostkowski kicked three field goals for the Patriots, including a 28-yarder at the end of the third quarter following a fumble by Jets quarterback Chad Pennington on a lateral pass.

Pennington connected with Jericho Cotchery on a 77-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter and Mike Nugent kicked three field goals for the Jets.
