Chicago police said Wednesday that six people, including the gunman, were shot at a warehouse and that the gunman might have been a disgruntled employee.
"Five people in the building have gunshot wounds. I believe it is by a disgruntled employee," Chicago Police Department spokesman Pat Camden said.
Camden said the gunman was among those shot.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said one of its investigators was en route to the scene.
"We know there are multiple deaths involved," said an employee in the office who asked not to be identified.
