Tiger Woods Weds Swede Model in Barbados

LANE BEACH, Barbados – Tiger Woods is now a married man, according to People magazine and several other news outlets. People reported on its Web site that the world’s most famous golfer married Swedish model Elin Nordegren in a sunset ceremony at a resort in Barbados on Tuesday.

Reporters flocked to the Caribbean paradise to catch a glimpse of the ceremony, but were kept at bay by security.

People magazine reported the wedding was at sunset at a popular golf resort and that the guests dined on shrimp cocktail, flying fish, macaroni pie and a four-tier wedding cake.

Celebrities like Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and talk show host Oprah Winfrey had been spotted in Barbados in recent days, fueling speculation that they were there for Woods’ wedding.
