LARIMORE, N.D.: Eventful Weekend Starts Thursday

Jul. 15–Get ready for dances, a pork feed, a pet parade and more at Larimore Days from Thursday through July 22 in Larimore, N.D. Here’s a schedule of events:

Thursday

— Citywide Rummage Sale, 4 to 8 p.m., list of sites available in City Hall or the post office beginning at 9 a.m.

— Family and Teen Dance, 8 p.m. to midnight, Good Friends restaurant.

Friday

— Open Bowling, 1 to 11 p.m., Legion Lanes Bowling.

— Pet Parade judging, 6:30 p.m., museum lawn, followed by pet parade, 7:30 p.m.

— Grillin’ on the Grass, 7:30 p.m., lawn next to Vet’s Club.

— Karaoke, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., lawn next to Vets Club.

— Adult dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Good Friends restaurant.

— Northern Lights street dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Tumbleweed.

Saturday

— Food and craft vendors, throughout the day, museum lawn.

— 10K/5K Walk/Run, 7 a.m., PetroMax, Paul Mutch.

— Mayor’s opening speech, 9:45 a.m., Museum lawn.

— Line-up for parade, 9 a.m. at football field; parade, 10 a.m.

— Car Show, 11 a.m., Museum back parking lot.

— Valley Community Health Tour, 11 a.m., new building site north of the Scoop.

— Salad bar, pork sandwiches, lemonade and coffee, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Larimore Senior Center.

— Edna Ralston Library book/tote sales, 11 a.m., museum lawn.

— Men’s Club games for kids, dunk tank, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

— Face painting and Beautiful Baby Contest, 11 a.m., museum lawn, sponsored by Larimore High School cheerleaders.

— Horshoes, 1 p.m., Good Friends alley.

— Children’s Games, 2 to 3 p.m., museum lawn, sponsored by Valley Community Health Centers.

— Kenny and the Classics street dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Vets Club.

— Glass Apple Productions DJ dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Good Friends.

— Northern Lights street dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Tumbleweed.

July 22

— Pancake breakfast, 9 a.m. to 1 p .m., Fire Hall, sponsored by Methodist Church.
