Eceptionist's Telemedicine Scheduling Solution Selected By Canada Health Infoway

Eceptionist, Inc. announced today that is has been selected by Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) as the only commercial vendor for telehealth scheduling. Eceptionist in collaboration with Infoway's Telehealth Program will implement electronic solutions that facilitate the delivery of health information and services between patients and providers regardless of distance.

Telehealth is defined as the use of information and communications technology to deliver health services, expertise and information over distance. The Infoway program investment strategy focuses on five key dimensions: Geographic, Cultural, Clinical, Management Models as well as Technology and Standards. Through the investment strategy, Infoway will directly contribute to increased utilization and expansion of telehealth services throughout Canada and in identified areas of need such Aboriginal, official language minority, northern and remote communities.
