MPI Research Presents Annual Educational Summit - Advances in Therapeutic Discovery & Drug Development: Preclinical Cell-Based Therapy Research

MPI Research, a preclinical contract research organization that sponsors annual educational summits, is proud to present, Advances in Therapeutic Discovery and Drug Development: Preclinical Cell-Based Therapy Research, August 15-17, 2007 at the historic and picturesque Brook Lodge in Augusta, Michigan. This year's summit cosponsor is WiCell Research Institute, home to the National Stem Cell Bank and supporter of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, known as a world leader in hES cell research. With a speaker dais of fifteen world-renowned experts from industry, regulatory, and academia, the summit will feature the latest developments in the use of cell-based therapy in drug discovery research.

Summit attendees will learn about recent advances in specific therapeutic areas, including cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, and oncology. Presentations will also be made on cell imaging, preclinical study design, regulatory considerations, and GMP issues. Those attending will have ample opportunity to have tactical and strategic discussions individually and collectively with the panel of esteemed presenters about how preclinical cell-based therapy impacts their own journeys along the path to therapeutic approvals.
