St. Vincent’s Health System Further Expands Their Reach into the Pell City Community
St. Clair Regional Hospital, previously a part of the Eastern Health, has joined St. Vincent’s Health System and is officially renamed St. Vincent’s St. Clair.
St. Vincent’s St. Clair has over three decades of service for the families and residents of Pell City and St. Clair County. They offer skilled inpatient care, full out-patient and diagnostic services, primary care clinics and a multi-specialty physician facility. In addition, the hospital has a variety of services including a Pulmonary Function Lab, a Dialysis Center, Gastrointestinal lab and a Radiology Department which provides CT scanning, Nuclear medicine, and Magnetic Resonance Imagining (MRI).
“St. Vincent’s St. Clair is pleased and excited to be part of the St. Vincent’s family,” said St. Vincent’s St. Clair President and Chief Operating Officer Terrell Vick. “We feel that this will enable us to better serve the families of Pell City and the surrounding counties.”
Two other hospitals in the Central Alabama area will be joining the St. Vincent’s Health system. These include and St. Vincent’s East, formerly Medical Center East and St. Vincent’s Blount, formerly Medical Center Blount. Additionally, St. Vincent’s Hospital will now be named St. Vincent’s Birmingham and One Nineteen Health and Wellness will maintain its current name.

As of July 2nd, the newly formed health system encompasses approximately 5,000 associates, 742 beds, 171 medical specialties, and five facilities.
