The NMAB was created in 2007 for the purpose of providing CHS and it’s physicians with ongoing clinical and health policy guidance. Wilson, M.D. Dean Emeritus, Director, Program in Minority Health and Health Disparities Education and Research University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Sullivan is the founding Dean and first President of the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM). With the exception of his tenure as Secretary of HHS from 1989 to 1993, Dr. Sullivan was President of MSM for more than two decades. On July 1, 2002 he left the presidency, but continues to serve on the MSM Board of Trustees to teach and to assist in national fund-raising activities on behalf of the school.

“It is a significant achievement that one of the most well-respected physicians in the country has agreed to join our National Medical Advisory Board,” said James A. D’Orta, M.D., Chairman of Consumer Health Services. “Dr. Sullivan will complement our already distinguished board and provide essential expertise and invaluable counsel on matters such as patient care and clinical protocols. We look forward to continuing to expand our delivery of high quality, physician-based health services to consumers, to reach a broader patient audience, serve a wider range of ailments and take the quality consumer-health concept to the next level.”

“I’m pleased to be joining this outstanding advisory board and will work with them to make quality health care more accessible and more affordable for all Americans,” said Dr. Sullivan.
