Ombudsmen Training to Be Offered

Training for volunteer ombudsmen in nursing homes will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Illinois Retired Teachers Association, 620 N. Walnut St.
The training is provided by Illinois Community Advocates for Residents’ Empowerment.
Volunteers visit long-term care facility residents to inform them of their rights and help resolve roblems. For reservations and information, call (800) 842-8538 by Monday.
