Clarian Health Awards Otis Fourth Major Hospital Contract

FARMINGTON, Conn., Aug. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Otis Elevator Company, a unit of United Technologies Corp. , won a contract with Clarian Health Partners to supply and install elevators at the new 12-story patient tower expansion at the Riley Hospital for Children in downtown Indianapolis.
The project, which includes six gearless traction elevators, two hydraulic elevators and four Gen2(R) machine-roomless units, is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2008.
Riley Hospital for Children is the fourth major hospital project that Clarian Health has awarded to Otis. The other three projects, all constructed within the past three years, include Clarian West Medical Center (Avon, Ind.), Clarian North Medical Center (Carmel, Ind.) and the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center (Indianapolis).
