BRIEF: 3-Vehicle Collision in Glendale Heights Sends 4 to Hospitals

Aug. 14–GLENDALE HEIGHTS — Four people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Glendale Heights.

A mini-van, pickup truck and sport-utility vehicle collided around 2:15 p.m. at Bloomingdale Road and Fullerton Avenue, police said.

Glenside and Bloomingdale Fire Protection District personnel also responded to the crash scene and extricated the van driver, who was airlifted to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, police said. Two other people were taken to GlenOaks Hospital in Glendale Heights, and another was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Three others were treated at the scene.

Glendale Heights police did not identify the victims or have further information about the severity of their injuries.
