Hospital Pressure Eases

Pressure has eased at the Waikato Hospital, which was struggling to cope with patient numbers during the week. Hospital spokeswoman Mary Anne Gill said 50 people were discharged yesterday, freeing up beds. The Waikato Times was not permitted into the Emergency Ward yesterday to photograph the backlog of patients.
