SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Jan Marini Skin Research, Inc. (JMSR; http://www.janmarini.com/) is releasing Age Intervention Regeneration Booster, a science-based compound for dramatically younger looking skin.
"Aging skin is still a reality, but the key to aging may reside in the ability to stabilize telomeres by allowing cells to 'reset their aging clocks,'" said Jan Marini, president and CEO of Jan Marini Skin Research. "Now this remarkable new anti-aging skin care compound captures the emerging science of topical Telomerase Enzyme therapy as a realistic science-based option for significantly younger looking skin."
The Science of Telomerase Enzyme Therapy
Telomeres extend off the end cap of our DNA and resemble shoelaces. At the end of each telomere is a ribonucleoprotein complex known as telomerase enzyme. Telomeres are often described as "a clock that regulates aging." As we age our telomeres shorten and gradually we begin to see and feel aging changes. Changes in our skin may include loss of collagen, elasticity, volume, lines and wrinkles and textural changes.
Telomeres have been the subject of intense scientific investigation into their potential to determine how long we live and how rapidly we age. While they may not determine whether or not we live, scientists have discovered that they do determine whether or not we age.
When telomeres eventually become very short, cell crisis and cell death is triggered, resulting in age-related disease and aging conditions. Other issues, such as heredity and lifestyle, may accelerate telomere shortening, thus shortening our lifespan.
Telomerase is believed to be a major force in providing protection and stabilization to the telomere. Studies indicate that when telomeres do not have sufficient telomerase enzyme, telomere shortening may accelerate. By helping to stabilize the telomere we may be able to slow down the process of skin aging. Telomerase enzyme may provide the mechanism to assist our cells in "resetting their aging clocks," thus enabling them to more fully rebuild and replace their losses.
The Results
Age Intervention Regeneration Booster is an anti-aging composition which incorporates Telomerase Enzyme in combination with anti-inflammatory agents, select peptides and other proven significant skin enhancing ingredients.
An independent clinical study demonstrates measurable, significant and lasting improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles, elasticity, firmness, texture, discoloration, overall radiance, suppleness and hydration.
Jan Marini's Age Intervention Regeneration Booster is an easy-to-use six week program, complementary to any regular skincare regime. Each program consists of six - 1/4 oz. mini bottles, (one bottle per week for six weeks) with a suggested retail price of $225.
