Angel Health Strategies, a healthcare investment group, and the founders of the ER Card, an electronic personal health record business, have announced collaboration to provide an electronic personal health record to ER Card's members.
Featuring benefits such as care management service, emergency notification system and an EMT care link, the ER Card offers members immediate access to health and contact information required during ambulance and emergency room encounters.
Bernie Lambrese, senior partner at Healthcare Strategies, said: "The ER Card enables an individual to create a comprehensive, electronic personal health record that will assist in a medical emergency and with routine physician visits. Our investment team is excited to help move the discussion about electronic medical records from the talking stage into the practical stage, helping to further implement this innovative medical reporting system into our healthcare system."
