Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley Awards $20,000 Grant to Marianjoy Outpatient Rehabilitation Pavilion

WHEATON, Ill., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley (formerly The Aurora Foundation) awarded a $20,000 grant to Marianjoy for the newly renovated Outpatient Rehabilitation Pavilion. The grant is specifically targeted for Marianjoy's day rehabilitation and outpatient programs, which provide state-of-the-art comprehensive rehabilitation outpatient therapy to Kane, Kendall, and western DuPage County residents facing a temporary or permanent disability.
The Marianjoy Outpatient Rehabilitation Pavilion features spacious state- of-the-art rehabilitation gyms, a warm water therapy pool, clinics specializing in balance, swallowing, and lymphedema, and comprehensive pediatric outpatient clinics and programs. Also located in the Pavilion are driver rehabilitation, an assistive technology center, a motion analysis laboratory, and the Marianjoy therapeutic golf program. The Marianjoy Outpatient Pavilion also includes a beautiful interactive garden for outpatients in keeping with the Marianjoy philosophy of incorporating the beauty and serenity of nature into the healing process.
