Kinetix Announces Successful NYC Events for Her Heart Community Series on Women And Heart Disease

NEW YORK, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Kinetix Group, in partnership with the New York Business Group on Health (NYBGH), is pleased to announce the success of a series of live, community-focused presentations on women and heart disease in New York, as part of the Her Heart Community program. Her Heart Community is a community-based initiative sponsored by Astellas Pharma US, providing health professionals, patients and employers the latest developments to raise awareness and change the way we look at women and cardiovascular disease.
Educational lunch programs were held in New York City last week for ConEdison and MTA New York Transit Employees, with over 100 employees attending each live event, and thousands more viewing the presentation at the MTA via company intranet. More presentations are planned in the coming months, with companies representing over 4 million employees expressing interest in the nationwide program. The live lunch programs for employees feature leading cardiovascular physicians and patient advocates as keynote speakers.
