Pacer Health Corporation Awarded Management Contract By AirportMD

Pacer Health Corporation, (OTCBB:PHLH), a Miami-based owner-operator of acute care hospitals, medical treatment centers and psychiatric care facilities, announced today that it has signed a management contract with AirportMD, an airport based health care provider. As a result of the contract, Pacer Health will assume management responsibilities for the current AirportMD location under-construction at Miami International Airport as well as all future locations.
Each AirportMD location will have a physician, physician's assistant or nurse practitioner on site and will provide health care services such as immunizations, blood screenings, physicals and other routine medical care. AirportMD will also offer prescriptions to both passengers and employees. AirportMD will also provide free health information regarding travel related issues via its travel health portal www.airportmd.com.
"Heightened security requirements and flight delays due to congested air traffic have resulted in longer wait times for passengers. AirportMD is uniquely able to take advantage of this trend by providing passengers the opportunity to receive quality health care while they wait. AirportMD allows Airports to improve the passenger experience and employee productivity," said Jim Whitten, president of AirportMD. "AirportMD plans to expand rapidly and in order to do that, we needed a quality medical partner capable of keeping pace with our demand. Pacer Health will be responsible for hiring doctors and office staff, and once the Miami AirportMD opens in Fall 2007, the company will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic. It also will provide management services to all future locations.
