UCI Medical Affiliates Inc. Opens a New Doctors Care Center in Anderson

ANDERSON, S.C., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Doctors Care is pleased to announce the opening of its seventh healthcare center in the Upstate, located at 2126 Hwy 81 North, Anderson. The new center opened on September 3, 2007.

Dr. Stephen Parks, the Upstate Regional Medical Director for Doctors Care stated, "The Anderson Doctors Care center is designed to provide convenient urgent care, family care, and occupational medicine, with or without an appointment. The staff includes a board-certified physician, Dr. Malone, and a physician assistant. Features include a trauma room, x-ray equipment and an on-site lab, as well as equipment for breath alcohol testing and drug screenings.

The new Anderson location will be open from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, and 1 pm to 6 pm on Sunday. Services include routine check-ups, care for minor emergencies, and family health services including vaccinations and primary care.
