Cardiac Ward Reopens

Waikato Hospital’s coronary care extension ward reopened yesterday after no new cases of the diarrhoea and vomiting bug norovirus were reported for 72 hours. Infection control committee chairman Graham Mills said there was only one patient in the extension ward who remained in insolation.
